It's pretty simple. Having your pictures taken takes only a few seconds. You take your mask off for a few moments for a picture then put it back on.
Like I said, I really don’t care what he does. That being said it’s making our local news because there are more pictures of him not wearing a mask at the game.
To political partisans, we’ll almost always give more leeway to people on our “team” and less to those who aren’t. But not everyone is a political partisan and people do get fed up when they feel like the rules for politicians are different than the rest of us.
I love ignorant lefties trying to cover up for their rule breaking superiors.
I'd like to see those pictures. Videos are better.
Do you see the irony in what you just said?
No I don’t see the irony but doesn’t mean it’s not there. Is there irony in the article if I am thinking something different?
The irony is that they want people to be upset with him because he's a Democrat. You can be certain that a Republican would be given a pass.
It's a political game. A political "gotcha" moment to win their favors.
I’m not following the irony. Like the article said, LA country code doesn’t allow for taking off masks to take pictures. So if one truly believes in “following the science” then these, or any other, pictures should not have not have been taken without masks.
I think most of us feel comfortable taking pictures with masks off regardless of what the CDC says. But when these policies get implemented and you see those implementing them not following them, then it’s not surprising to see pushback.
You said this: "To political partisans, we’ll almost always give more leeway to people on our “team” and less to those who aren’t." That's what makes your next statement ironic.
As I have stated a few times, they were not talking to each other face to face while they had their pictures taken. And it was for only a few seconds. And I know you can see them holding their masks.
In other words, they were not endangering each other. As you said, follow the science.
From the article:
Picture-taking is not a valid reason to remove masks per the county's health order
Where is the official statement?
Official policy statement from LA County? Not something I am in possession of. Does it surprise you that they would implement that?
I would be surprised considering that they allow them to remove their masks for eating and drinking.
But I still need to see their official policy, not some article claiming that picture-taking is not a valid reason.
I love ignorant lefties trying to cover up for their rule breaking superiors.
You’re going to have look that one up on your own my man, not something I have available (I would share if I did)
The article you linked to would have that already.
This one is what we have. No mention of picture-taking anywhere.
