You’re losing me here. It’s an LA County Order for starters. Why would SoFi list that you can’t take photos with your mask off rather than do what they did which is say leave your mask on except for those two exceptions?
You stated, "follow the science". They were doing exactly that.
How would removing the masks for eating and drinking endanger the strangers around you? You're with your family and friends at a table apart from others. Besides, you do not talk much while eating and drinking so there is very little risk.
In the same vein, posing for a picture has practically no risk at all. Temporarily removing a mask, holding it in your hand, then put it back on. Zero risk.
If you're at a party with your family and friends, you put yourself at risk and that's your choice.
If you want to show how much of a hypocrite he is, I'd need pictures but I prefer videos of him not wearing his mask most of the time around people.

I'm now talking about the CDC guidelines and LA County implementing them. They are the ones stating don't take off your mask when taking photos. According to them that's following the science.
On one hand you can argue the CDC has a very tough job but this is also an example of why so many people tune them out at times, stating things like you can't take off your mask to take a picture.
I would like to see the said guidelines.
When people do not talk to each other face to face at close encounters without masks, they pose no risk at all. That is demonstrated by science. "Follow the science".
Your mother told you to cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Why is that?
Taking off your mask for a picture when you are just standing there and smiling poses no risk at all.

That's the problem with assuming without checking the references.
Those far right media sources are notoriously bad about making claims with no references at all.
Again, it illustrates the irony I was referencing to. They seek for a "gotcha" moment with the Democrats and when it happens, they blare it like they're blaring it with a klaxon.

This is California and LA County specifically. It’s not surprising in the least that they have among the strictest COVID rules in the country.
