Clearly the Nazis laid Germany's economic woes, among other things, on the Jews. Pure scapegoating for the loss of WWI and the global depression which was especially hard on Germany since for them, post-Versailles, it began in 1918. Hitler rose to power partly by capitalizing on scapegoating the Jews which the Euros had all done (and still do) for centuries.
Trump did likewise by scapegoating rapist Mexicans, blacks from shithole countries and murderous Muslims. Basically anyone who didn't fit the Aryan profile of racial purity. Trump has spoken often about "superior genes". He's a true believer even though he and his family need a lot of plastic surgery to make it work.

I don't know. It's a great mystery to me. It's easy enough to be a shitty person for no reason at all. We're surrounded by them. There's that extra psychotic class of people, though, that aren't comfortable being shitty just for the sake of being shitty. They blame their shittiness on the religions that they know nothing about and disgrace with every mention.
And then on top of that, they pretend to judge others based on aspects of their religions that don't exist. It's as if they're not smart enough and not confident enough to defend their shitty ideas on the basis of their own nonexistent merits. They have to rely on religion because they're not smart enough to justify their own so-called beliefs.
It's really a sad state of affairs because there are some decent people who thoughtfully practice religions who quietly tolerate the imposters demeaning their entire belief system. People like Wolverine and Postmodern Prophet and Stretch are not Christians. They actually cheapen the entire religion by claiming it for themselves. There is no self respecting Christian church in the world that would welcome them.
