Does anybody here regret their vote for Joe Biden for President?

That's why I separated the two and said you can say no to both as in 1) I don't regret voting for Biden and 2) I don't think he's doing a good job

I think at a human level people are more inclined to give support to those they voted for because they could see it reflecting poorly on them if their candidate doesn't perform well. However in 2020 from the Democratic side it was all about ABT, anyone but Trump. It wasn't like there was this passionate following for Joe Biden per se. So Biden was the 'horse' people choose to get rid of Trump but it's not shocking that not everyone has a ride or die attitude towards him.

Ah, I see. I misread your #1 - I regret.... I don't regret...

I've voted Republican for President maybe 70% of the time and I wasn't enamored with Biden but I think he's doing a better job than I thought he would. I don't think he should run for a 2nd term because of his age. I think they should have an age limit on ask the branches of government, like forced retirement at 70.
But I'm not sure I can vote for a Republican POTUS now knowing that it would give more power to the likes of MTGazpacho, Boebert, Cruz, Goemert, Gosar, Gaetz. That's a scary thought.

It certainly is

organization/planning

Well Putin and Xi would certainly agree. Americans, on the other hand, do not.

The economy is not crashing. And we're out of Afghanistan.

If you asked any objective American if the country is better off than it was when Trump left office - they'd say yes without hesitation.

Inflation is growing faster than people's incomes. We are going backwards. All Americans aren't out of Afghanistan.

Inflation was an inevitable & temporary condition after COVID. We're close to full employment, wages are up, and the growth rate is the best it's been in years.

There is no reason to talk the economy down. It's growing & doing well. It's certainly not "crashing."

Our troops our withdrawn from Afghanistan. The near 20-year war (unnecessary) is over.

Yes, it is. Just doesn't happen all in one day.
So we could have left everyone in Afghanistan but declared all of them off duty and technically we would be out.
70% of Americans say otherwise.

We all know that was the solution trump was thinking about. he really hates veterans, and probably would have thought we could have saved some money by leaving them behind.

The reality was there were not many Americans in Afghanistan at the end. We had pulled out all combat forces, and trump had released all the Taliban prisoners to do what they will. After the 5,000 Taliban prisoners had been released, there was no Afghanistan Army to train, they saw the writing on the wall. Biden was in the same position of Ford, with a war that had already been completely lost by his predecessor, with only a withdrawal to organize.

If you want to attack Biden for not doing a better withdrawal... OK, that is fair. Maybe he could have done a bit better. But trump did the surrender.

I sure don't. If Trump coup had been successful, there'd be no more democratic elections. Trump would rule like a dictator. See Putin.

Neither do I at giving the lawlessly hacked in mango cheetolini tRump the boot who was hacked in there to be on a mission to destroy Democracy from within and left a legacy of atrocities for President Biden to clear up at accomplishing more than tRump accomplished in his worthless life:

Most Americans are not aware of the remarkable accomplishments in Biden’s first year

When Joe Biden assumed office in January 2021, he inherited a mess. The pandemic was raging and the economy was in distress, largely because of the inept response by the Trump administration.

In March, without a single Republican vote, Biden and the Democrats passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan to fight COVID and energize the economy. By using the Defense Production Act and mobilizing public/private resources, Biden’s team distributed millions of vaccine doses nationwide, free to those who wanted them. Stimulus money provided urgently needed assistance for many.

This massive effort worked remarkably well. As people became vaccinated and stimulus measures were implemented, consumers boosted the economy. Many U.S. companies achieved their highest profits since 1950.

Unemployment declined from 6.2% in February 2021 to the current 3.9%. By a wide margin, more jobs were created during Biden’s first year than 12 years of the G.W. Bush and Trump administrations combined. Child poverty was reduced by half. 4.6 million previously uninsured Americans obtained health coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal reported the U.S. economy grew almost 6% in 2021. They predict growth for 2022 to be about 4% and inflation to slow. These rates are the highest the U.S. has experienced in decades. This is reflected in the strength of the stock market which attained record highs in 2021.

Bloomberg’s founder, Matthew Winkler, stated, “America’s economy improved more in Joe Biden’s first 12 months than any president during the past 50 years….”

The turnaround has been remarkable, however, because these achievements have been largely ignored by mainstream media that focuses on the negative, most Americans are not aware of these extraordinary accomplishments."

He sure is doing a lot for a vegetable. The economy is coming back from the depths, he ended a 2 decade war, he is in the process of preventing another war, and the CDC is now saying an end is in sight for the pandemic.

That's quite a resume for a President in just over a year. This could actually be one of our great Presidencies.
He promised he would get rid of COVID but more people have died under his watch than under Trump's. He also promised he would cure cancer but cancer death are increasing.

He also claimed that he is a moderate....a steady hand....do you remember that?

He lied.

Inflation is at a 40 year high. Even after increased wages American's buying power is decreasing and our standard of living is decreasing. Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan. We left several billion of dollars of weapons that our children or grand children will have to fight against.
