Does anybody here regret their vote for Joe Biden for President?

Joe Capitalist

Racism is a disease
I sure don't. If Trump coup had been successful, there'd be no more democratic elections. Trump would rule like a dictator. See Putin.

Are there any Slow Joe voters who will admit that they voted for him?

You can really ask it in a two part question:

1) do you regret your vote

2) do you think he's doing a good job

Based on poll numbers the answer to both of those can be No

For sh*ts and giggles the real question you can ask Democrats is if they regret their vote in the primary. Because unless you think Biden was the only person capable of beating Trump would you rather have Sanders, Warren etc. as your President if you think they would have beaten him.

now we have a vegetable. Hooray Mr Potatohead...

He sure is doing a lot for a vegetable. The economy is coming back from the depths, he ended a 2 decade war, he is in the process of preventing another war, and the CDC is now saying an end is in sight for the pandemic.

That's quite a resume for a President in just over a year. This could actually be one of our great Presidencies.

Wishful thinking?

Methinks Americans felt that Biden had the best chance of beating Trump and that's why he got the nomination. I would've been worried that Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren were too far left and thus wouldn't beat Trump. All I cared about was getting The Orange Turd out of the White House.

Regarding your poll numbers, I doubt many people who voted for Biden would wish they voted for Trump instead at this point.
And remember, there are a lot of far left liberals who voted for Biden with the prospect that he would advance a lot of the Sanders/Warren agenda and because he hasn't, those liberals are giving him bad poll numbers. But, no way does that mean they wish they had voted for Trump instead.

As you can tell, ColicGuy is a Trump dick sucker (NTTAWWI).

But you're right. Biden has done a tremendous amount in the last year and he is to be commended. Thank God we no longer have the Orange Turd in the White House.

Donald Trump when asked what his plan is for the next four years. August 27th, 2020:
“I think, I think it would be, I think it would be very, very, I think we’d have a very, very solid, we would continue what we’re doing and we have other things on our plate…”

Donald Trump when speaking at a Pandemic Press Conference:
"I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? As you see, it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that."

Donald Trump when asked about a hurricane hitting the US:
“This is a tough hurricane, one of the wettest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of water,”

Donald Trump when asked about Puerto Rico:
This is an island surrounded by water. Big water. Ocean water.

Donald Trump when asked about the F-35 fighter:
How do they do in fights with the F-35. He says we do very well, you can’t see it. Literally you can’t see. It’s hard to fight a plane you can’t see, right? The enemy cannot see it. Even if it’s right next to it, it can’t see it.

the economy is already crashing from his efforts.
he threw thousands under the bus turning tail in Afghanistan.
he is stoking the fires in Ukraine.
he told the world, including the CDC that the US was done trying to do anything about covid so suck it up.

That's why I separated the two and said you can say no to both as in 1) I don't regret voting for Biden and 2) I don't think he's doing a good job

I think at a human level people are more inclined to give support to those they voted for because they could see it reflecting poorly on them if their candidate doesn't perform well. However in 2020 from the Democratic side it was all about ABT, anyone but Trump. It wasn't like there was this passionate following for Joe Biden per se. So Biden was the 'horse' people choose to get rid of Trump but it's not shocking that not everyone has a ride or die attitude towards him.

The economy is crashing? That's not reality.

And what do you expect when we're trying to withdraw from an unstable, war-torn country after 20 years?

He's done a fantastic job so far.

The reality is it doesn't matter who the President is, there are going to be people who think they're doing a good/great job and those who think they're doing a bad/poor one.

The San Francisco Chronicle is my local paper and this column from yesterday is trending from one of our progressive columnists. I'm not saying he's right and you're wrong rather there are a wide variety of opinions on this topic.

Joe Biden is a lousy president

I actually went into Biden's Presidency thinking he'd be pretty bad. And he's not good when it comes to communication.

But the narrative has become that he's this disaster, just through people repeating it. If you look at some of the basics, he's done well. The economy is simply better now. He ended a war. I think he's handling the Ukraine in the best way possible.

I mean, particularly Afghanistan. That is a seriously unstable country, and as that article points out, we never should have been there in the 1st place. ANY casualties are tragic & terrible - but unless he got us out of there with no casualties, it's a "debacle"? Why is there such a double standard on that stuff? Conservatives went crazy about that & Benghazi, but give a pass to GOP leaders who engaged in conflicts that had much more significant loss and issues.

its amazing how fucked up the country is if he's actually done those things......I think perhaps you are wrong......
