more than 1600 Russians detained for protesting Ukraine War

These Russian protestors are acting on behalf of truth and moral justice, unlike the American January 6 protestors.

I haven't run across a single Russian citizen on my social media contacts who is in favor of this war, and a large percentage of them are openly hostile to Putin's war, or are sporting Ukrainian flags and peace doves on their profile pictures.

met a few of my daughter's Russian friends in HS, nice kids.....have always felt sorry for those people, they've been dealing with people like Vlad for hundreds of years

More importantly tens of millions voted against McCain keeping us in Iraq forever. Russians do not have the same power to vote against Putin.

Any chink in Putin's absolute power gets other Russians thinking they too can challenge Putin. Before you know it, Putin will lose everything. He really needs to stop this quickly.

Bush, Obama, and Biden can easily survive large protests against them, as long as they keep getting elected.

Klepto-Joe hasn't moved to correct any of Trump's illegal activities regarding Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. He is complicit by inaction . Thus the illusion of change continues with each successive election and different president, a system which is , in essence, a tyranny with a merry-go-round of front-men. At least the Russian system presents a leader who sits still , takes the praise or the criticism and doesn't disappear every four or eight years to pass his screw-ups to the next billionaire pal in line.
