Especially out here in farm country. Dusty dirt roads are hard enough on HD trucks, they'd destroy an EV in 30,000-40,000 miles if not sooner. Then there's our winters, an electric heater would really suck an EV's battery dry in a hurry.

Yeah. I'd love to see an EV try to deal with your winters. :D
EVs don't handle dusty dirt roads well. The rocks damage their batteries. The uneven terrain might bash the battery pack to death pretty quickly too. Me? I wouldn't give it even 30,000 miles. You are being extraordinarily generous.

Might be interesting to see a bull's reaction after he charges an EV!

Me neither. It would take weeks to do it, much of it sitting around waiting for it to recharge.

Why do you post without doing any homework? there are charging stations across the nation. You can top it off while eating lunch and going to the toilet. Type in charging stations in your area and watch the screen light up. You do a recharge when you sleep too. Makes you appreciate how dishonest some posters are.

So then you are not only limited to finding charging stations, but for food, overnight stays, and piss stops as well? Keep your EV, I'll drive where, when and stop where I want. It's still a free country (but for how long if the Dems have their way?)...

No it really doesn't. They walked because they had no horse or it was their best option at the time. An electric car is not the best option at this time imo.

Keep believing that, ColicGuy, if it helps you sleep at night. I'll probably trade in my current EV and buy a new one in 5-7 years anyway. The technology is advancing so fast that it doesn't make sense to keep any car for more than 5-7 years. Kinda like a cell phone.

But go ahead and keep buying ICE cars if that's what your far right masters tell you. You'll be the one searching for a gas station in 10 years. And good luck when you want to sell it. I'd love to be there. It'll be high comedy. BWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!

I suggest you never buy an EV and keep driving your ICE car and spend >$5/gallon. Then when Hydrogen becomes a viable alternative, go for it (in 50 years).
