There's only one Trump. Any other Republican candidate and you are going to have to actually find a candidate to support and not simply rely on the anti-Republican vote.

I disagree. Not actually being Trump will help, but copying his style too closely will cost and nominee.
Of course Democrats want Trump to run, you are correct, no one unites the left, or rallies many Independents to their side, than Trump, straight politics. And Trump does a pretty good job of “not letting go,” he owns the GOP, and by all measurements is the GOP candidate in 2024
Can he win, sure, as of late, all Presidential races are close, 2024 shouldn’t be any different. Is he the GOP best candidate, probably not, but the GOP ain’t going to tell him
And as a side note, another example of how college sports are antiquated (https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article260883402.html), now athletes have agents securing NIL deals, and with the portal, shopping around for the best deal

Prior, even as late as two years ago, it was never this bad, sure, some schools were accomplishing success by cheating, but nothing compares to what is occurring today
As the article I forwarded before said, it eventually is going to come down to a division between those schools who control their programs, and those that are willing to allow outside business entities administer the programs just using the name and identity of the school as their product

The Ringer has a good article about this within the last couple of days. They went back to the 80's where coaches were talking about leaving because they couldn't handle how dirty the game had become (recruiting/booster wise). You probably saw all those ESPN 30 for 30's about Marcus Dupree, SMU, Miami etc during the 80's and how much influence boosters had and crooked everything was.
But you're right, there's going to have to be a line drawn between the role school's can play in promoting N.I.L. and I'm sure there are a number of schools who want no part of it (I'm thinking Cal for one, the school I grew up following).
If it’s negative about Democrats, he does not look beyond the far right story. Also, he will usually refuse to debate it.

You will vote for a casaba melon if it ran as a D, it would not matter if George Washington was reincarnated and ran as the R, it wouldn't matter if Thomas Jefferson (the guy who started the D Party) was running against the melon... It wouldn't matter if it was even your clone running against the melon, you'd vote for the melon, because it was a D.
Other folks aren't like that, and the reality is that most of the folks that voted because they hate Trump really only hated Trump and you would not get the same result.

1) That’s different than what you said before.
2) I will almost always vote for the more liberal Candidate. I believe liberalism is what’s best for America. If the Republicans put up a more Liberal candidate, I would proudly vote for him or her.
