The Best Republicans Can Hope For Is a Ripple

Back To Reality
FoxNews recently announced they expect Republicans to gaining 20 seats in the Senate. There are 36 seats up for election, but only 14 of them are Democrats, so the most Republicans can gain is 14 seats. Even that is not a real possibility. There are only 11 competitive seats, with 5 of them held by Democrats. The most that Republicans could really gain is 5... But that would be a long shot. A more realistic possibility is one or two, with Democrats having a slightly lower possibility of adding one or two.

That is not a tidal wave.

The House has been so extremely gerrymandered that it is even worse. There are only about 40 seats that are competitive, with slightly less than half of them held by Democrats. The most the Republicans could gain is 18 or 19. A more realistic number is 10, or less. They need 8, and probably have a 50/50 chance of getting there.

The popular vote is only important in seeing the direction of the country, but it is worth looking at. It is unlikely that Republicans will get the majority of the popular vote. Sorry.

Gerrymandering won't affect Senatorial votes, they are statewide. Getting back house seats will be tough for the Dems.

It is going to be a tough contest... For both sides... If it were just dependent on the popular vote, Democrats would have a much easier ride.

Well, yeah. If based just on the popular vote, we'd have won both the 2000 and 2016 elections.

Keep telling yourself that.

President Joe Biden's approval rating among Hispanic Americans has plummeted to 26%.

President Biden's approval rating among Hispanic-Americans has plummeted to 26% according to a Wednesday poll from Quinnipiac University...

Biden is less popular among Hispanics than any other demographic, including age and gender, the poll found. The same Quinnipiac poll conducted last year put Hispanic support for Biden at 55%.

Young Americans and White men also have low approvals for Biden at 27% and 29% respectively.

Thankfully the Dems can point out the massive crimes of all republicans to win elections

You won’t do well after months of revealing your party’s crimes

All the people around trump are telling the truth now

They are telling the people that trump is an insane criminal

That will take a toll
