It’s actually the right to Privacy, which was much larger than abortion. It was the right to make basic personal decisions that most directly affect who we as individuals are.

The conservatives could easily have left that right alone and carved Abortion out of it. Instead these guys took it away giving the government the power to once again regulate access to birth control, who we can marry and any other number of personal decisions.

They took power away from individuals and gave it to the government.
 
Let's take it to the streets and tear it all apart.

This republic has outlived its usefulness. It's nothing but a dumpster fire now.

Time to try something else.

Middle American and the deep south can't be part of the same country as civilized places.
We clearly proven that now.

it's called democracy. It's an issue that should be rightfully left to the states. I thought democrats loved democracy. Now's the time to practice it. Convince people your side is right. The states that reject it do so with the majority support of their populations. That's federalism. Embrace it. Your authoritarian regime is crumbling.

In a democracy there are certain rights even the mob should not be able to take.

I truly do not understand why people get obsessed with abortion.

Im a libertarian. I take privacy rights to heart, and that includes anything to do with my body.
I fully support "my body my choice"
but the decision was only for the implied right to privacy, which is not in the Constitution

I dont mean even leave it regulating by the states -blanket illegal - so no I have no bodily autonomy

Alito said in the majority ruling that Roe was "egregiously wrong from the start," with its reasoning "exceptionally weak."

He said the decision has had "damaging consequences."

"We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely — the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment," he said. "That provision has been held to guarantee some rights that are not mentioned in the Constitution, but any such right must be ‘deeply rooted in this Nation’s history and tradition’ and ‘implicit in the concept of ordered liberty.’"

"It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives," Alito said.

the federal government decided, in 1972, to take away the right to life that every unborn child up until that point........today the courts finally took that power away from the federal government.....hopefully all states will eventually realize that killing our children is an abomination, not a right.......
