Comedian Dave Chappelle has had a live show cancelled at the last minute due to controversy over some of his jokes.

The First Avenue venue in Minnesota apologised for booking him and said the show would move to another theatre.

Chappelle has received both huge support and intense criticism for his jokes about transgender people in recent stand-up routines.

First Avenue said it must hold itself "to the highest standards". Chappelle has not yet commented.

Chappelle's live shows and TV specials, and the platforms hosting them, regularly attract criticism due to comments he's made in previous routines which some viewers find offensive.

Reject violent or discriminatory behavior.
Be responsible for your own actions. Be aware that your actions do have an effect on others despite what your intentions may be.
First Avenue’s Commitment to You:

We honor that “safe” and “safety” feel different for everyone. If you experience harassment, abuse, sexual assault, or if a perpetrator of harm is interfering with your experience at our venues, please approach a staff member to whom you feel comfortable talking. Please do not stay silent. We are here to help with any conflicts arising from the violation of our policies and this Code of Conduct, and our staff is trained by Calling All Crows to do just that. First Avenue staff acknowledges that we are bound by this same Code of Conduct, except that employees may be required, on occasion, to initiate physical contact for the safety of individuals in the venue, and such actions shall not violate this Code.

What's crazy are fucking morons who lie and claim a show was cancelled when it was only moved.

Still, unlike foreign cocksuckers, Pedo Kings and other assorted human refuse who hate people, I support the right of local citizens to make their own decisions.

FWIW, I like Chappelle and watched his Netflix special. Like Pedo Don's traitorous cocksuckers and unregistered foreign agents, people are free to hate whatever they like but I don't condone such autocratic methods nor child abuse.

To a venue one third the size and at the last minute. All by a fraction of a percent of society that has absolutely no sense of humor and is offended by everyone who does not bend over to their way of life. (Bend over intended).

What kind of crime do you think he committed? Can't be murder since that's probably extraditable. DUI homicide might do it. Rape. Theft.

Personally, I have never seen what is supposed to be extremely humorous about gay jokes, transgender jokes, black jokes, Polish jokes, or Jewish jokes.
