If we don't learn from the past, we're doomed to repeat it.

No one took Hitler or the Nazis seriously in the early '30s in Germany. No one believed democracy was in danger. No one believed a dictatorship was possible, or that the atrocities that followed were even within the realm of imagination.

We think the Constitution protects us. But we came one VP away from ignoring the Constitution in 2020. And if Trump had taken power, who knows what would have happened?

There is no mistake about it: Trump WANTS to be a dictator. He's also trying to ensure that enough key operatives are in place in swing states to overturn the next election, if that's needed. This is all happening in broad daylight.

You can "TDS" and "Godwin's Law" this stuff as much as you want. But it's a real danger, and we need to start paying attention.

What solid actions outside the rather outlandish claims made about Jan 6 from the Left indicate that Trumps wants to be a dictator? He had four years in office. What actions in those four years can you point to (other than Jan 6) that substantiate your claim?

My point is, if Trump wanted to remain in power for life, don't you think he'd have done a lot more in the FOUR YEARS he was in office? You trot out Jan 6--a three hour riot that ended up doing NOTHING as some huge proof that Trump was intending a dictatorship. Are you-- yea, you are-- You are fucking delusional!

If you had a real case to make, you'd have way more, massively more, than that stupid assed riot on Jan 6 as some sort of proof to make your case.

No, you have no tolerance for Trump as a politician and are trying your damnedest to come up with reasons to justify your hatred. If as you say, have no tolerance for those trying to take over the government, you'd be far more concerned about things like the FBI repeatedly lying and using their police powers to help or hinder politicians and public figures, as but one example.
