Trans woman - the hero!

LMAO. You've hit a new low. Worse than half of my ignore list.

I did indeed teach classes to women for self defense. Some were already assaulted. Some wanted to prevent being assaulted. We always pointed out that they would typically be smaller than an attacker, so the element of surprise was their best weapon.

Break loose, and run whenever possible.

Whereas I never cared to study long enough to become a master, I did indeed realize the benefits of studying martial arts.

Kung Fu has 'soft' methods for smaller/weaker people that are effective if used in conjunction with the element of surprise.

Aikido is another art that aims to use an opponent's power against them.

All are theories, and when put to the test they don't always hold up to more violent styles.

Which doesn't mean that on any given day, a smaller/weaker person cannot be successful in a fight.

It's never a good idea to attempt to speak in absolutes. Because as you did here, you back yourself into a corner. Then you double down and devolve into stupid, inane ramblings because you embarrassed yourself.

And your envy of my training isn't a good look.

Quite the contrary.
Projection.

You immediately resort to aggressive posts the moment you don't agree with someone.

I find your MAGA claim above to be ironic.

And the thought that anyone is 'upset' with you is cute.

You lied.

I corrected you

You turned everything to shit.

That about sum it up?
That's not what she said. Notice the men/women didn't train hands together?
QED.

Thank you for your revelations, Master Althea.

Yeah, but I got to thinking,.... if, say, your were a cis-gendered, biological male and you met and fell in love with this woman (who was the hero of the Colorado night Club massacre) when it came to having intimate relations, there would be a serious problem. Namely if she' a transgender woman she would have a va-jay-jay for you to slip your plonker in, Right? She'd only have a butt-hol;, and a lot of gentlemen (like me) would have serious issues with poking their peenie up a lady's shit-chute.

What do you think ?

Dachshund - the Wonder Hound

DLM....Dachshund Lives Matter !

She’d have to find a very special man.

It's a study in the premise of the thread being flawed. And the fact that martin cannot seem to grasp that no trans people were involved.

Do you guys need a course on the differences between trans people and female impersonators?

Prove it, you can’t because you are lying.

TBH, I think this is my fault because I broke Master Althea when asking him about ripping off women and parents of daughters he promised to teach self-defense. My bad. Sorry.

As for trans, drag, straight, bi, gay, whatever, I fail to see the problem except there are too many fucking busybodies in the US willing to scream their views on how other people should live their lives.

As Robert Heinlein once wrote:
""Ninety percent of all human wisdom is the ability to mind your own business.""

I recently lost a dear friend who was in Vietnam when your husband was. Agent Orange related cancer after 50 years.

I didn't know him in the early days of his returning home when he did the heroin thing, drinking and lord knows what else.

I knew him for about 35 years. He was an often angry drunk when we met, but quit alcohol and only used high grade weed in the later years.

He was very active with veterans locally, which helped him as much as those he counseled.

I often talked him down on some of his bad days.

He often credited his (second) wife with saving his life, and often wondered how she put up with him.
I’m sorry for your loss.

They were both self defense and how to aggressively stop an attacker with no holds barred. They even had training on how to deal with a car jacker.
Actually, I was referring to the mental aspects of martial arts via meditation when I referenced benefits, but I guess it was rather vague.

Because awareness of ones surroundings is half of the battle

You are absolutely correct about Nam vets. I was spit on called a baby burner at the airport on my way home. I do have the satisfaction of breaking the nose of the guy who spit on me. LOL
Earlier I referenced a dear friend who I lost recently. He spoke about being shunned by the V.A for years, because the old timers didn't consider Vietnam a 'war'.

Prove it, you can’t because you are lying.
You started the thread with a lie, and you demand proof of others?

I believe one of your demands was a response to my claim that the hero in this story seems to think that he fought for our freedom.

That's a lie.

He fought for Exxon/Mobil, Halliburton, and Blackwater.

There is nothing that transpired in any of the U.S acts of aggression after WW2 that had/has anything to do with 'our freedoms'.

That's just a cookie cutter response to every discussion about veterans.

I’m sorry for your loss.
Through him I met several Viet vets who had limbs missing, half of their face missing, and a variety of other physical injuries.

One thing that seems to be prevalent in all combat vets is the severe mental damage that they brought home.

In many cases due to the gross negligence by our govt. to recognize their claims.

It took decades of fighting to be recognized/compensated, and all vets that came later realize the benefits of that fight.

Your husband was one of the pioneers who had no choice. He was ripped from his family and sent to a senseless war.

As most of our young men were back then unless they came from privilege.

It really is. It's amazing to watch people in a parking lot, totally oblivious to everything around them, focused on their phone, car keys, packages, kids, etc. That's what crooks look for, distraction.
