Thank God, the PP chickened out again

Lets see, a few recent quotes by Trump regarding taking over Greenland, happening “one way or the other,” “the easy or the hard way,” “I'm not going to give up options,” “No, I never take military force off the table," and this is coming from a guy who just previously said similar things just before he sent the US military into another sovereign nation

And please, spare us the semantical bullshit with the but, but, but he didn’t say exactly he would invade Greenland
So you have no link.

He will not use force to take Greenland as he previously suggested.

Hey, if Greenland wants to come into the United States voluntarily, I support that 100%.

I wonder how this plays into his marketing and PR strategy.

I just hope the threats did not cause as much damage as I suspect.
The markets got the message they needed

poor anchovies
Give us all a link where Trump said he would take Greenland by force.
He didn't. Just as in WWI we just "suggested" strongly to Denmark we would invade the Virgin Islands if they didn't just sell them to us so we could keep them from German occupation. In this case he did the same thing. He never once said he would use military force he simply refused to say he would not.

I think he's aiming at having a strong understanding that this place matters to our security, and it cannot be given away, like Diego Garcia, to China or Russia...

Doing it in his regular "style" which is saying absurd things and using tariffs like they taste good...

In the end he seems to want more security there, and reassurance that our base and security there are paramount.
And all he had to do was ask idiot

Maybe the Gutless Old Perverts have grown a testicle and had "a little talk" with him about Congressional power to remove him from office ...
And a possible economic depression if they all got together and yanked out of the American economy

The 1951 Defense of Greenland agreement granted the U.S. the right to expand its military presence in Greenland far beyond World War II levels. The largest addition was the construction of Thule Air Base (now Pituffik Space Base) in Greenland’s frozen north, which was manned by more than 10,000 U.S. troops at the height of the Cold War.

Exactly, the same person who a month ago said the same regarding another sovereign nation just prior to sending the US military in was proclaiming he wouldn’t rule out an invasion again, not saying he would, but not saying he wouldn’t
