I love meltdowns.
Sounds more like a beatdown this time. Given Trump's propensity to sue, I'd say Noah needs to lawyer up like yesterday. Say whatever you want about Trump and Epstein and what you think they did together, but don't go on national TV and make shit up. You're just asking for a lawsuit doing that.

Question: Is a "Slopadoplus" some sort of new species of dinosaur?

That’s news?

Trump threatens to sue anybody who criticizes him, or especially makes fun of him, he has been involved in close to 3,000 law proceedings. He doesn’t pay that army of attorneys and accountants for nothing. He learned well from his mentor Roy Cohn

How sad is that, the President of the US, the most powerful person in the world, gets upset because a comedian cracks a joke about him? The last thing we need is a thin skinned Executive leading the country

Exactly. He saw what happened with Slopadopolus and choose to do what he did any way. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

I think Trump has tolerated enough slander don't you? Enough is enough. Make a few examples and the slander will die down. Noah's cheap laugh may prove very expensive.
Are you kidding, Trump sues everybody, that is why he has an army of attorneys and accountants

And has “tolerated enough slander,” that is rich, the guy uses the Presidential pulpit to declare that fellow citizens are “traitors,” “ terrorist,” “enemies,” “danger to the country,” and worst, and you are telling us Trump “has tolerated enough slander.” Too funny, just too funny

Let's have an America where everyone is afraid to criticize their leaders & government. That's gotta be right in line w/ what the founders envisioned....right?
Criticizing the government and politicians is part and parcel of America and Americans. But when you go on national television and make direct statements that are lies about a politician, any politician, and those lies are clearly intended to harm that person's reputation, you are just asking to get fucked in court in return.

Calling Trump a slimy piece of shit or whatever isn't libel or slander, it's opinion. Saying Trump went to Epstein Island and strongly implying he did perverted things there on national television IS slander and libel when it isn't provably true.

It wouldn't hold up in court. It's a comedian, Trump is a public figure, and it's a joke - not any kind of statement of fact.

People can argue it all day. The vast majority of leaders & Presidents from history wouldn't even acknowledge it. Trump remains one of the most thin-skinned people we have ever seen in public life.

So Comedians are immune?? :oprah:

To be fair Noah did it on National TV. A Centrist would see there is a BIG difference.

Again, the points you're trying to make have nothing to do w/ centrism, or political ideology.

The centrism thing seems to really be a big, big deal w/ you though. I think moderate positions tend to confuse & even anger people who are more extreme politically.
