No moron. There are STATE LAWS that allow you to LEGALLY carry a weapon in your state . Minnesota is not a right to carry state you MUST have a CC PERMIT AND STATE ID ON YOUR PERSON. 29 states are Constitutional carry states meaning you don't need a CC permit to carry a weapon. Minnesota is not one of those 29 states. In Minnesota you need to have a state ID and a CC permit on you to legally carry a gun in public but there are still some limitation on where you can legally carry a weapon. Peritt was not carrying his weapon LEGALLY.

Federal government officials have made several statements that they have withdrawn or have stopped saying as they were quickly proven to be lies or they were not able to substantiate. A few below.

So stop this lie that 'STATEMENTS' by various people in Trumps admin = proof or fact when in fact it almost always turns out to be massive exaggeration or out right lies.

1. Claim: Pretti brandished a handgun and posed an imminent threat
2. Claim: Pretti violently resisted arrest in a way that justified lethal force
3. Claim: He was acting as a dangerous โ€œdomestic terroristโ€ or extremist
4. Claim: Pretti had no ID and was not carrying his gun license
