Body armor. If the city/county/whatever jurisdiction passed a law and got funding for body armor, then I don't see the problem. I don't understand why you're bringing up body armor. Body armor doesn't conceal your identity. Body armor does not cover your face. If a police officer in California murders an unarmed person, the Governor doesn't go on TV before the victim's corpse is cold and call the victim(s) "domestic terrorists that intended maximum damage".
Your comparison to these police wearing body armor and the ICE thugs terrorizing MN who wear not only armor, but face masks and no id is fallacious.
