Survivors of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein lambasted first lady Melania Trump’s denial that she had any ties to the disgraced financier, saying it “diverts attention” from former Attorney General Pam Bondi’s handling of the Epstein files.......“First Lady Melania Trump is now shifting the burden onto survivors under politicized conditions that protect those with power: the Department of Justice, law enforcement, prosecutors, and the Trump Administration, which has still not fully complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act,” they wrote.
The survivors added that the first lady’s statement earlier in the day “diverts attention from Pam Bondi, who must answer for withheld files and the exposure of survivors’ identities.”
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said this week that Bondi will not comply with a subpoena to appear before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee as part of its investigation into Epstein.
Not meaningless to the the victims, and likely the voters.
There are photos of her with her arms around them, and an email from her to him, referencing Maxwell and signed "Love, Melania". Who puts an ending salutation in an email?
She's also initiated contact in emails with them.
