Hunger pains

A 16-item basket of groceries made up of staples like eggs, bread, and meat — no truffle cheese in our cart — rang in nearly 43% higher in March compared to the same month in 2019.

A few key categories are behind the rise: Coffee prices have more than doubled since the pandemic, while beef prices have soared more recently. Egg prices have dropped from 2025’s levels — but are still about $0.80 more by the dozen compared to March 2019.

Snacks are especially expensive. A one-pound bag of potato chips these days costs almost $7, a more than $2 hike from pre-pandemic levels.

Housing hardships

The single-biggest monthly expense for most people is housing. Whether you rent or own, you’re probably paying more now. Rental costs and home prices vary widely depending on location — generally, they’re higher on the coasts and lower in the Midwest and the Southeast — but median rent in the US is $1,895, a 41% jump from $1,343 in 2019.

Yea how dear we Jews defend ourselves from those who want to wipe us out,

Maybe if our enemies stopped hiding behind children

Maybe if you parents weren't alcoholic goyim

May you live long enough to see all your loved ones buried, and may that day come sooner than later

Fuck U.....and the horse you rode in on.

its not difficult to shop wisely and affordably... long overdue to take the time to do that... the vast majority of us almost all of us here have worked...we know what to do...stop whining...
Yep just scan those shopping flyers and shop wisely. And $7 for potatoes chips is insane. Buy them when they are $1.99 when you buy 4 or more. Or better yet for your health just don't buy them and buy fruit like apples to snack on.

I can list bargain shopping thread pages if anyone is interested... They'll do a lot of the hard work for you if you shop online...

How long till the MAGATs show up and blame Biden, and insist that everything's just peachy now? lol

And there you go, @Guno צְבִי -- the forum's dumbest and most hypocritical Trumpsucker has weighed in. We can quit worrying now.

Toxic, does this mean you've recanted all the nasty, ugly things you said about "BIden's inflation" and how he was making families starve and be unable to afford Taylor Swift tickets? The OP does say "2019," after all. Oops!

The proposed American blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will only exacerbate these issues. As prices rise, the fortunes of America's current ruling party fall.

Lazy, entitled Americans will not tolerate any sacrifice that affects them personally for long.

We will win.
