He's libertarian-leaning, here is a list of the main reasons that caused the "rift" between the two:

1. Spending and big bills: Massie opposed Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (a major tax/spending package), calling it a "debt bomb." He was one of the few Republicans to vote against it and earlier COVID relief packages. Trump viewed this as obstructionist.
2. Foreign policy and wars: Massie pushed back on potential war with Iran, foreign aid (including to Israel and Ukraine), and broader interventionism. He introduced measures to assert congressional war powers.
3. Jeffrey Epstein files: Massie was involved in bipartisan efforts to force the release of more Epstein-related documents from the DOJ, which reportedly angered Trump.
4. General independence: Massie often voted as a "no" on bills regardless of party pressure, earning him labels from Trump like "third rate Grandstander," "worst Republican congressman," "RINO," "sleazebag," and "disloyal." Trump has criticized him since at least 2020.

Pretending that he's a "Trumper" at the same time that Trump is calling him a "Pathetic Loser" is laughable.

One can be a Trumpper even if Trump calls you names, but inview of your post, I'd say he is more Conservative than Trumppy.

Because he voted for the discharge petition that was supposed to compel trump to release the Epstein files. Of course his stooge, Blanche refused to anyway, continuing to help trump cover it up.

Massie's problem was insufficient loyalty.

Massie wanted to force Israel's shadow government in your capital to register as foreign agents, as your law requires.

Israel gave the order to eliminate him. He is lucky to be alive.

If you are not responsible for other democrats and only yourself, why are you asking conservatives on this board to be responsible for President Trump? Why the discrepancy?
