These are kids who've had no discipline in their lives because of poor parenting.

Lack of strong father figures, etc.

They've been raised and influenced by black celebrity/rap music culture.

No positive role models in their lives because their parents are as irresponsible and socially deficient as they are.

Looks to me like both.

I think the youth culture of one particular race has something to do with their behavior.

IOW, not a hard-wired, genetic predisposition, but rather a social/psychological phenomenon that American black youth have somehow evolved (or rather devolved) into incorporating into their psyches.

Possibly picked up from their role models in the media and entertainment industry.

The issue is cultural.

Black people who come from Africa rarely act the way these criminals acted. Because people in Africa aren't taught to hate whitey and that they are blameless for their actions because they are oppressed, the way American blacks are by the left.

You're right, it's not race - it's culture. Why do we coddle a culture that promotes crime, poverty, and ignorance while feigning victimhood? The good news is that more and more black Americans are rejecting the sick culture white leftists have foisted on them.
