Trump is going to get spanked in midterms. He will lose the House and Senate. He will have to talk to the left and compromise to get anything done. That will infuriate him. Trump will try to make a deal that will allow him to escape paying for his grifting and looting. Making a deal with Trump is meaningless. If he changes his mind, the deal is confetti.
 
I will be curious how the midterms pan out. History says the Presidents party loses seats and/or majorities as a rule with few exceptions.

The question is will gerrymandering ameliorate some of the losses….

Look at their likely presidential candidate line up for 2028. It's a who's who of losers in the news. Newsome, Harris, Buttigieg, AOC... It's like they're trying to lose.

Better he gets nothing done than compromise with the Left. As far as it goes, the minute Trump is out of office, the Democrats won't give a shit about him anymore. He'll disappear from the news cycle.
