Trump can't walk away. It is against his nature. He has to save orange face to leave. So in the dark, countries are not negotiating just the end of the war, but cobbling a position together that will allow Trump to go away. It may be him launching a big bombing run and declaring it satisfied his conditions. It's a high price to pay to appease a crazy man.
