Why do young Americans drink so little?

Especially here! Close to Michigan! People can literally spend less on weed then booze or cigarettes!
I pretty much stay stoned on gummies and spend less then $25 a month! And I buy the best brands!

I can buy 1.75 L of 7 times distilled vodka at Class Six for about $10, but I think on the economy it is a lot more. $100 of flower lasts for months.
 
We have been browbeat with the narrative that one should not drink or at least not drink much at home, and drinking out is very expensive.....that might be part of it. I think that the claim is BS but the young might believe it.
 
I tend to doubt it, I think this is mostly about a push towards a dystopia where people dont get good food and dont have fun.
