Trump threatened to bomb a major U.S. ally while discussing the war in Iran during a tense cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
While sitting between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump was asked whether he would accept a short-term deal that would allow Iran and Oman to control the Strait of Hormuz. "No, the Strait is going to be open to everybody," Trump promptly declared.
"It's international waters. Nobody's gonna control it, we're gonna watch over it," he continued. "Oman will behave just like everybody else, or we'll have to blow them up. They understand that, they'll be fine." It comes after Trump reportedly tried to access the US nuclear launch codes - before one person stopped him.
