While there's a little truth in the "female president" thought, there are other bigger factors there. Hillary pissed off all the white male blue collar workers up north and also all the Bernie supporters with her heavy handed tactics to obtain the nomination. Biden screwed his own party by breaking his one-term vow. Harris did a good job catching up in 3 months, but too little, too late.

I think Niki Haley was the vastly superior candidate to Trump in the GOP primary, and she was considered a legitimate contender.

But Republican voters took a look at the incompetent, unintelligent, sleazy, unethical Trump and decided he was better.

Agreed. No doubt a female president is too much for MAGAts, but I think most Independents, and the Democrats of course, would be fine with it.

MAGAts elected a person they admired; a draft-dodging adulterous pedophile and convicted felon.

It bugs me that socially conservative patriarchal societies like Japan and Mexico have had female leaders before the United States.
