Yes, and many of those like trans persons should likely be on required / mandatory psych care with meds.
Preston was placed with foster parents at five days old, remaining with them for the first 10 months of his life.
Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley were approved for adoption and Preston began living at their home in Blackpool in April 2023, when he was nine months old.
But in the just under four months he was in their care, he was routinely ill-treated, sexually abused and physically assaulted, suffering 40 traumatic injuries.
He also had indecent images and videos taken of him.

In the case of the trans population I'd say 100%. Their near 50% suicide rate alone warrants that.
Good idea. Let's force it on trans children. Why not commit them?

Trans persons have the highest suicide rate of any group on the planet. They have one of the highest drug abuse rates too. They have issues and changing their gender isn't going to fix that. You don't indulge crazy people.Good idea. Let's force it on trans children. Why not commit them?

Gay people used to have high suicide rate. What changed? Acceptance.

If that's the case then it tells us that the treatment has not changed.
