Do you know what a "subcontractor" is?
Of course I do. Do you know that a SUB contractor is STILL a contractor. Do you know that if the sub contractor has not been payed by the General contractor that the subcontractor can go right to the owner of the home. project, ect ect and demand the money or put a lien on the property?
The "property owner " would then pay the sub contractor and sue the general contractor for the amount paid out plus court costs. The debt doesn't just go away and the sub just has to eat it...LOL Not how it works,...the property owner still got the value of the subcontractors work,....they must be paid.
