The majority of those listed that hold office as Democrats are former members or were not endorsed by the DSA or were never members at all.
Then when we get to the local officials, it really runs off the rails for you. Most local officials are non-partisan offices.
You seem to think those local officials that ran as DSA members ran as Democrats?
The list also included people that are dead but were elected well 20 years ago as a member of DSA. It includes people the DSA supported but they were not DSA members. If we follow your logic, we could want to know why so many Republicans are neo-nazis since the far right claims many of them as following their beliefs.
There are none that you will see as reasonable examples. Just people with unclouded vision are able. Stick with your prejudices, TA...they serve you well.

Really?? 140 died trying to escape East Germany across the Berlin wall. When the USSR collapsed, the Berlin wall was removed.
Germany unified.

DEMOCRATS want price controls.
DEMOCRATS want to dictate who you can hire, who you can fire, and how you can run your own business.
DEMOCRATS support nationalization of markets (placing markets under government ownership).
DEMOCRATS support slavery.

It's interesting that when you say Democratic Socialism is just repackaged Communism, those on the Left, and the supporters of Democratic Socialism start screaming and yelling about how you are totally wrong but absolutely refuse to explain in any sort of detail what Democratic Socialism is.

Democratic Socialism (The Trump/Bernie populist crossover rhetoric) = rejection the traditional, hands-off "free-market" capitalism that dominated American politics for decades. Both agree that the government should intervene in the economy to correct perceived failures, which represents a massive shift in modern governance.
Both Trump and Bernies populist message called for a more interventionist gov't in the average american's lives in a way that would make life better for the MC and below. Bernie really meant it and Trump never did, but the words they both spoke would be the core of what i would call todays Democratic Socialism.

That one has the "...owning class," simply renamed bourgeois, pitted against the renamed proletariat. Replace Capitalism with Communist worker's collectives.
They also want the government to run your life for all intents:
We want to win “radical” reforms like single-payer Medicare for All, defunding the police/refunding communities, the Green New Deal, and more as a transition to a freer, more just life.
How is it "freer," or more "just" if the government dictates what your health care will be, refuses to protect you from criminals, and forces you to live a "Green" lifestyle?
That is their words, not mine. They are Communists, and you are too if you support their ideas.
Also, I don't see Trump calling for any of that.

Trumps brand of socialism and him showing what he ACTUALLY accomplished and how following politicians from either the Right or Left implementing an America First type agenda can wield the Federal gov't to force key ownership and control in private companies, wield the agencies of the Federal gov't to shape and control Law firms, big media, Charities and non profits, and Religious institutions....
THAT is the practical path for a true future Democratic Socialist leader who can unite the populist left and right to then implement an agenda that goes well beyond what Trump did (which ended most with graft) in using a 'whole of gov't' approach to reshaping America by using the power of gov't to forcible make all key areas comply.

Rephrased, that is classic Marx in that it says "the owning class"--aka Oligarchs and such--"exploit the rest of us..."--that is the "proletariat." The words have changed, but the meaning remains the same: Classic Communist class warfare didactic.
They then state they must replace this with what amounts to worker's collectives, again rephrased to make it sound better.
So, unlike this article claims:

That is straight up Marxist Communism in every bit of its classic form. Collectivization is pure Communism.
So, when somebody says they are a Democratic Socialist, call them what they really are: A Communist.
