Trump alone made this an issue. He brought it up. He made the 'I alone can fix it' argument while mocking prior POTUS for not doing it.
He now has his DoJ charging people without any merit because he, Trump failed as the one who put in his Mar A Lago buddy to fix it and who jut grifted, pocketed the money and failed.
