The new book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by Haberman and Swan details that Melania was very unhappy with the Donald for ripping up the Rose Garden and demolishing the East Wing.

When he's gone, I'm guessing she'll publish a very insightful memoir. :)

The ongoing saga of the algae that has taken over the Reflecting Pool is reaching new levels of stupidity as Trump’s frustrations with literally everything spill over.

In a completely insane Truth Social post, the President of the United States claimed that “vandalism” was responsible for the algae blooms and demanded that law enforcement investigate this heinous crime of, uh, putting algae in a pool that is notorious for having algae problems.

“We’ve had some real problems with Vandalism at the beautiful Reflecting Pool, which sits between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Just like three days ago, they destroyed the grass outside of the Pool, they’ve also done everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed.”

“No different than the chemicals that were used on the National Mall, they used something similar in the Reflecting Pool to try to destroy and demean our beautiful work. Lightweight ABC Reporter, Jonathan Karl, was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface. The algae is 75% gone, and the condition will soon be completely remedied, and the area that was vandalized, fortunately, is just a small area of damage, and will be fixed early next week.”

“It’s a shame that the Radical Left Lunatics, most likely Dumocats, who have spent their lives trying to ruin our Country, are free to do so. Law Enforcement is actively investigating this situation and will hopefully have it resolved soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Trump tried to reinforce his point by sharing another post of some pranksters who were walking around the Pool with shirts and signs that read “TEAM ALGAE.”

We’re so used to Donald Trump’s war with reality that it’s honestly completely unsurprising that he would say this, but let’s think about this again.

The president of the United States is alleging that vandals are deliberately introducing algae into the Reflecting Pool and using chemicals to ruin the paint job. This is nucking futs!

Trump, it was your decision to paint the pool blue, at enormous expense, thus allowing more heat from the sunlight to be absorbed into the pool and creating a petri dish for algae to flourish.

Trump, it was your government that poured hydrogen peroxide into the pool and ruined the paint job.

All of this is your fault, you absolute moron!

You do that, and Trump never takes responsibility for anything that goes wrong. Are you saying you did not notice that? It is obvious to the rest of us. I suppose what is obvious to everyone else is difficult for you to comprehend.
Trump blamed Obama for many things that have gone wrong. Are you saying you missed that? No surprise, he even tried to blame him for the algae in the pool.
