Tucker Carlson and MTG both looking at a new third-party after split from GOP​


Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene have both said they are working on plans for new political parties, following their high profile splits with the Republican Party.

Both Carlson and Green have turned from former Trump allies to frequent critics, claiming the president is not delivering on his ‘America First’ promises. However, despite abandoning the GOP they have made clear they have no intention of becoming Democrats.

...“There should be a good-faith effort to figure out what benefits the country,” he said. “I mean, if you make sixty thousand dollars a year, you’re degraded.

“Your life expectancy has gone down, and the promise of your children’s lives is likely gone. No one seems to care. It’s not even a factor.”...

I do think a true America First focused party would take a bigger chunk of vote share from both the Populist right and Populist left if the party does not focus on partisan issues. Not sure Tucker could keep it from being too partisan and i am certain Marjorie Greene could not.

my assumption is it would be the populist right focus Trump espoused thru his promises but did not deliver on many of them...

- US internal focus, with an isolationist bent
- focus on border and immigration restrictions
- focus on infrastructure and housing
- focus on jobs/ trade
- focus on healthcare and other social needs
- massive diminishing on military activity abroad
- massive diminishing of engagement with UN, NATO and other foreign entities

If this party comes from Tucker or Marjorie or Steve Bannon those will be the main planks and how they pitch them will depend on how much of the populist left they really want to get.

We already have a New America First Populous Party under Trump.

The only other 3rd party option is already underway, as the radical leftists
have bowed down to having radical Socialism/Communism take over the
limelight of that much failed democrat party.

Anyone here think that the left's radical socialist commie party is what one
would consider populous?
