Trump just wanted to break a world record, and didn't give a shit about the quality of the performance, or the health hazards to DC residents from the thick smoke.
The reports are Trump was napping during the show.

BTW the Fourth is about independence and America's birthday. It isn't about veterans.

Did you mind when Trump packed up and took with him boxes and boxes full of classified materials, some of which were left in a bathroom at a resort (Mar-A-Lardo)? I don't recall you being appalled about that, or that the FBI had to raid the bedbug-ridden dump to retrieve them.
