U.S. Launches Strikes After Iran Fires on Ship in Strait of Hormuz​

U.S. Central Command said on Saturday evening that it had launched strikes on Iran after the Iranian navy attacked a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz, rejecting a U.S. ultimatum to open the critical waterway to traffic.

Hours earlier, the Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, had met in Oman with its top diplomat to discuss safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz, but he made no public commitments. The prospect of a reopening seemed dimmer than ever after Iran announced the attack, a warning shot on a container ship, and said it would close the strait “until the end of U.S. interference in the region.”

SEVEN MONTHS to take out Gadaffi and his loyalists in LIBYA of all places with NATO engaging as well ????? Pathetic when you think about it. Obama fought a FOREVER war with the help of NATO to take out a a fly on a camels ass in the middle of a desert. How WEAK can you be.

Comparing what we were up against in Libya :rolleyes: to the military might that Iran USED TO have before the U,S decimated them is no comparison at all quite frankly. Seven months to swat a fly. We should actually be embarrassed.
 
Then of course afterwards used Libya along with other countries to run guns into Syria which in turn ended up actually arming ISIL/ ISIS. So yeah.......FOREVER WARS INDEED.

You appear to only understand HALF of the equation because you discount the other half at first glance even though you have been given it multiple times. The ONLY people who will end up truly being slaves to the "new way" will be the ones who freely and of they're own volition slipped the chains upon themselves. They will CHOOSE it freely. They will die horrific deaths and lead short miserable lives. Once a person chooses that path there is no turning back as they're fate is sealed that very day. Others will not accept a life of slavery and will reject it openly no matter the price. I am among them. Slavery of any kind is not in my future. Worrying about a future of slavery does not concern me whatsoever because it does not impact me in the least. Those it does impact are those who CHOSE the chains so.....................To worry about something so simple, free and easy is nothing more than foolishness and a waste of time IMO.

I don't believe that there will be any kind of peace so long as Crazy Trump is president, right now, what I see that is the main obstacle to peace is Iran's deep hatred of Crazy Trump, and Iran's seeking revenge for the deaths of their leaders..

No,...just curious why one police action that has gone on for 4 and a half months is called a forever war but another that lasted 7and a half months isn't. To say nothing of the fact that what went on in Libya also led to a lot of loss of life in Syria that drug out for years. What makes it Different ?
 
And BTW,....the Syrian conflict is where POTUS TRUMP ordered the absolute destruction of RUSSIAN troops at the oil fields.

Libya was UN sanctioned and NATO-led.

When Trump starts a war that is internationally sanctioned and when he convinces the NATO alliance the conflict is necessary, you won't hear as many complaints.

Democrats REALLY do not like talking about that whole Libya/Syria point in time as it leads to a whole bunch of embarrassing situations for them. Including but not limited to the formation of ISIL which Obama and the D's had a HUGE assist in. The same ISIL that POTUS Trump basically wiped off the map when he became President. They also REALLY HATE any mention of American troops under the watch of Commander in chief Trump wiping out hundreds of Russians and they're allies in Syria because it flies in the face of the whole TRUMP IS A RUSSIAN PUPPET propaganda scam they were running and makes them look stupid and like the liars they are.
