To a man, we do not discuss politics in any way while on the course. We simply do not. Off course, there might be a light bit of banter...but not often, and never heated. Friendships can only survive the environment we have created for ourselves by self-control, and we all recognize that. The same thing goes with my non-golfing friendships...and with my family, both of which are composed of several whom you would describe as far left and several whom I would describe as far right.

I can't even imagine doing that.

Even if my wife had a third tit and liked nothing more than cooking, cleaning, and bringing me drinks, I'd kick her to the curb the instant she tried to get our kids jabbed with Fauci-juice or sent them to sit in a library and have a guy in a miniskirt read a book to them.
