It has definitely gotten worse. We see it weekly at the grocery store and twice monthly at the gas pump. Thankfully even though we are retired, we can easily afford the rise. But so many cannot. Trump fucks up everything, including the rapidly-improving economies that he inherited from two different (D) presidents, Obama and Biden.

Why should any of us be surprised?

Let me make a prediction: His chief JPP cheerleaders and trumpet-suckers will pop in to assure us that everything is just fine, everything costs less, and you better shop with coupons and shut up about it.

Yep. Every couple of months I place a pick-up order for common OTC meds/vitamins we use. Typically the cost is around $20. Last week it was $31 for the same things. Mr. Owl's diet Coke has jumped from $2.59/2 liter bottle to $2.99/2 liter bottle. Just a few examples. BTW, those prices had stayed steady during the Biden years. Why are they so much higher now? Tariffs? Inflation and tariffs?
