My ex wife's rape (at age 15, she never forgot when and where it happened on her father's farm) was never reported. She did, however, have counseling for it at age 18.

I’m sorry for your wife. She was able to recall, other women don’t . She feared she wouldn’t be believed is the main reason rape isn’t reported. I’m glad she received counseling, a lot of women can’t afford it.
