In the civil case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll, a federal jury found Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation, but not specifically for rape. He was ordered to pay Carroll $5 million in damages, a verdict that was subsequently upheld on appeal.

The award was for "defamation" because he called her crazy when she told her lies. On what planet is denying an accusation defamation?

There was no charge of rape or conviction of rape. The jury determined the conviction, not the judge.

A Judge can not change sexual assault to rape, no matter how hard he tries. The gold-digger could not even remember what year it supposedly happened.

Wrong, are you that dumb? The first award (5,000,000.00) was for the rape.

The second award ($136,000,000.00) was for libel or slander (defamation) because after he was found to have raped her, he claimed she made it up.

The legal definition of “sexual assault” in New York, the one the jury used, is the common definition of Rape. He inserted his fingers into her vagina.
