the Judge already ruled this was rape and there is no distinction that can be drawn as Sexual Assault in NYS at the time does have a range, as you said, from just unwanted minor contact to you, Rusty, being forcibly penetrated anally by a broom handle until you need reconstructive surgery.
NYS had a very old law that said only 'vaginal penetrate by the penis is rape and everything else is sexual assault' but the Federal gov't, almost all State, and common word usage all cite what Trump did, rightly, as "rape".
It is why anyone now can say publicly "Trump is a rapist" and if he tries to sue it just gets tossed out of court under the 'truth is an absolute defense against defamation' defense.

it is pretty disgusting and shows what a terrible person you are that your wife went thru what you did and the only understanding you got from that is to judge others by what your wife did or did not recall, did or did not do.
Like every human is exactly the same and if they do not perfectly template off your wifes experience then those victims are bad people.
Memory loss after trauma is a VERY common thing from domestic abuse to soldiers at war, etc. Certain people are not able to cope mentally with what they see or experience and their mind blocks it out to protect them.
Your response to that is to tell them 'it did not happen' when that is the case, and that TRULY makes you terrible person.
Great that your wife coped in her own way (and i mean that) but that you weaponize that to belittle and attack others is truly deplorable.
