"Iran used a high-level delegation to Islamabad—headed by the Interior Minister and including the head of NIOC—to deliver a message to Trump via Pakistan: implement the original 14-point MoU in full, with no renegotiation, or face a prolonged war and non-stop disruption of energy and maritime transit. Trump rejected the only off-ramp available to him."

Earlier today, President posted this claiming he would hit Iranian infrastructure and energy plants if any ships were struck. Yemen rebels just attacked two Saudi ships in the Red Sea.If Trump does what he says, and it hits Iranian energy facilities, you can just about be guaranteed Iran will strike back harder, against our allies’ energy systems, and possibly in greater force than what they receive.All this does is continue to deteriorate the situation, move us further away from any sort of resolution, and raise the price on America and our armed forces for this futile war of choice.And never forget, every one of these strikes whittles even further away at our vital missile inventories, which we rely on for our national Defense around the rest of the world. President Trump is putting all that at risk with his foolish war against Iran that cannot succeed and can only fail.

Now that everyone has heard that the Houthi's have struck two vessels in the Bab al-Mandeb, there is a question that immediately needs to be addressed:What does Trump do now?There is simply not a lot of options for President Trump here now that his economic clock just got thrown into the fire. Bomb Qeshm and Larak Island for the 54th time? That's not going to matter.Bomb Pickaxe Mountain? Maybe, but that doesn't magically fix the broken economic clock he has flaming before his very eyes.My immediate concern when I think, "what will Trump do next" is:Bridge and Power Plants Day.But it could also go beyond this. Trump is desperate now. He JUST capitulated to the Iranian regime in Versailles a few weeks ago. We could see targeting of economic infrastructure that devastates the innocent civilians. We could see targeting of water storage, water infrastructure, and water desalination like we have already in recent weeks. We could see targeting of wheat storage facilities.There are very few ways that President Trump can respond to this major escalation from Iran and the Houthi's...The world just got a LOT more dangerous.

The idiots who run the Empire are sure that this is still the America of 1994, all powerful, can do whatever it wants.

The learning will come hard.

Shortly before Ansar Allah fired on two Saudi Arabian ships this evening in the Red Sea, President Trump posted this on TruthSocial. It should be painfully evident to everyone, even President Trump, that these threats and military actions will never compel Iran or the Yemen rebels to submit to his will.It will do the opposite.Now President Trump is starting to face the reality that the application of fire power is not only failing to achieve positive results, it is making our situation worse, hardening the resolve of our adversaries, and deepening the cost of our increasing strategic failure.Now it’s not just the Straits of Hormuz that are closed, it’s also the Bab al Mendeb. Things are going to get worse for us financially. President Trump does not appear even close to the point where he realizes more lethal power equals a worsening position.I think we can expect that he’ll probably escalate even more in the coming days, making our position more intractable and raising the cost on our country, before possibly reality will compel him to change course.

It’s very bizarre to watch what was once a credible source in CENTCOM become nothing more than a cog in the propaganda machine.What is the purpose of this post? Who is it trying to convince?Trump’s diehard MAGA base doesn’t NEED proof to blindly believe their glorious leader.And anyone not in the MAGA base knows this is utter rubbish and laughs.The only purpose it serves is diminishing the credibility of CENTCOM, the credibility of the U.S. government, and continues to show the American people that Iran sources are more credible than our own.That’s dangerous

The CIA is pissed that the Iranians are relentlessly targeting CIA outposts in the ME......speculation is that they could not do this without Russian/Chinese intel;

In my opinion, Iran has finally started getting steady flows of intelligence from Russia in recent weeks (or perhaps even China too), beyond individual assistances we likely saw during the active phase of the war, in response to the U.S. providing extensive intelligence to Ukraine.The sudden shift from primarily using missiles and drones to waste western interceptor stockpiles, to striking extremely valuable US targets across the Middle East almost every single day despite using a significantly smaller number of missiles and drones, is not natural.

One of things not many seem to appreciate is the political fallout of this catastrophe. Gaza destroyed the Genocide Joe coalition. Iran is destroying MAGA. And there is no political force on the horizon that can gather anything more than minimal consent. It’s not just partisan polarization. Most people hate both parties and all politicians for selling them out to the insurers and the lobby and the next guy writing them a check. They hate the mainstream press; now a term of abuse. And they hate the tech oligarchs too. Witness the backlash against AI already. The US is the richest nation in history. But it is strategically soft bc the political order has been destroyed by the feeding frenzy of the elites. Elite-mass relations are more or less openly hostile. Trust of elites and national institutions could hardly be any lower. Trust has collapsed more generally. We’re looking at a very advanced state of decomposition here.This country is going to fight a twenty year long counterinsurgency war against an Iran? Are you fucking kidding me? There will be firing squads in the streets within two years.

The war is Trump's choice. If he did not do a sneak attack,our soldiers would be alive and others not injured, Trump's war of choice is helping nobody.
The people who run Empire think they can save it by controlling global energy flows, and they think that America's military and secret CIA militaries can make it happen.

I am almost certain they are wrong, they are not saving the Empire, they are making its failure more painful than it needed to be.

The unipolar hegemon executed one suicidal masterstroke in two acts.Ukraine was meant to be the easy bleed…Use proxies to break Russia, secure Europe, and deter China. Instead it forged an unbreakable Eurasian steel alliance, drained American arsenals, and shattered the myth of endless proxy wars. Morale collapsed at home while adversaries discovered Washington’s shallow pain threshold.Then came Iran…The “decisive” pivot to reclaim energy chokepoints. Same playbook, same blindness. Geography laughed, missiles flew, bases burned and suddenly the Navy can’t enter its own claimed waters. Two fronts, one truth…The empire can start conflicts but can no longer finish them.This tandem exposed the fatal flaw of addiction to air power illusions and dollar coercion in an era of hardened resolve and industrial depth. Every sanction accelerated dedollarization. Every strike recruited more allies to the resistance.I don’t think historians will see mistakes. They’ll see the moment unipolarity self-destructed, handing the century to multipolar reality.Deny it at your peril but the verdict is already being written in fire and shifting maps.
