He does, after all, have to prove he was materially harmed before the suit can go forward.

I'm betting the paperwork hits the judges desk so fast it leave skid marks almost as bad as the ones in tRump's depends.

According to Politico, Trump's lawyers told the court they intend to withdraw portions of the original complaint by abandoning claims of economic harm.

Attorney Alejandro Brito said the president's legal strategy has "evolved" and that the case will now focus solely on reputational damages rather than alleged harm to Trump's businesses.

"The damages are limited in a way that is different from when the case was originally filed," Brito told the court. "Even if there has been a harm to the brand, we are not pursuing that as part of our damages… It's a far more narrow scope of what this case is about."

So now... if trump is claiming his reputation was damaged, he'll have to prove he had a good reputation to begin with. That his reputation was that of decent, honest, civilized and morally upright person prior to the supposed harm.
