Archaeology of the New Testament

I believe the most logical inference for the cause of a mathematically rational and lawful universe is some kind of timeless immaterial rational organizing agency or principle.

I don't believe a witch did it.
Buzzword fallacies (logic, inference, mathematical, rational, lawful, timeless, immaterial, organize, agency, principle, witch).

The Universe is not an inference.
The Universe is not logic.
The Universe is not a cause.
The Universe is not mathematics.
The Universe is not a division.
The Universe is not a law.
The Universe is material.
The Universe is not an agency.
The Universe is not a principle.

The Universe is unorganized.

Good summary.

Even accounting for demographic racial percentages, I thought that white Euro-Americans were just more likely to be atheist than other ethnic groups.

Once when I asked this question to a JPP atheist (I think it was Perry) they implied white males happened to be more atheist because they are just more intelligent and rational. They quickly realized what they were saying and back tracked, lol
Atheism is not a race.
Go stuff your racism up your butt.

It's pretty amazing that you are able to post so many words while contributing slightly more nothing of value to any conversation.
Since ^^^^ this ^°^^post....

From @Into the Night

I (generously) removed anything that could be remotely considered a useful contribution.

Not to you. You keep using numerous buzzwords.

Buzzwords are not precision. They are part of no language.

You do not believe you are conscious??
So you believe in numerous buzzwords that have no meaning. Gotit.

Buzzword fallacies (universe, laws of nature, rational, organizing principle, immaterial, eternal, uncaused).

The Universe needs no explanation.

The Universe is not a law.

The Universe is not a division.

The Universe is material.

The Universe is not a cause.

The Universe is not an uncause.

What 'Big Bang'?
The Universe has no known boundary. What is 'expanding'? What is 'inflating'?
The Universe is not flat.
Space is not a quanta.
The Universe is not a structure.

The Universe is unorganized.

Why would he choose your Sky Wizard? Would you rather have him choose your Farting Rainbow Unicorn?
Why would he choose any of your gods?

I would say that ninety percent of self identified atheists are not actually free thinking, dispassionate non-theists without an axe to grind. Rather, this ninety percent are angry, upset, distressed about Christianity in particular.

I think even Einstein said most militant atheists were traumatized by the church their parents dragged them to.
The funny part is that you keep tap dancing around my belief that this is all related to your Christian sky wizard, yet you keep bringing up atheism.

All of this just one big setup to pull a bait & switch. Your intent is to get agreement on this undefined 'thing' creator of the universe, that you keep referencing in vague terminology. It's not a being and may or not be conscious, but it has agency.

Once you get agreement on the existence of the elusive entity, you're going to say "See! This is the creator of the universe that Christians believe in "

The Sky Wizard is YOUR god, Void. It has nothing to do with Christ or Christianity.
All of this just one big setup to pull a bait & switch.
What is the bait?

He just called his god a nothing. You're complaining?
Once you get agreement on the existence of the elusive entity, you're going to say "See! This is the creator of the universe that Christians believe in "
Neither of you are discussing Christianity at all.

The Sky Wizard is YOUR god, Void. It has nothing to do with Christ or Christianity.
So, In multiple discussions where I have expressed the fact that I don't believe in any gods and am, by definition, an atheist, you believe that my referencing a sky wizard is suddenly a reference to a God that I believe in and not used to mock the Christian God?

That's actually what you believe?

On a side note, no matter how you answer, you lose. If you say yes, you think it's a reference to an actual God I, an atheist, believe in, then you are just stupid. If you say no, that it's not a God I believe in, then you are a troll.

That's all fine since no one can prove why or how the Universe came to be. I'm disagree with people who believe the Bible is 100% true and I disagree with people like you who mock it and claim it's 100% fabrication.

While I believe there is more to existence than being a mobile meat computer, I can't prove there is an existence beyond the mortal and material. As such, I admit I do not know.

Sky Wizard is your one of your gods. The other you mentioned is a Farting Rainbow Unicorn.

DON'T TRY TO DENY YOUR OWN POSTS!
On a side note, no matter how you answer, you lose.
Assumption of victory fallacy.

You are not an atheist.
You can't blame your problems on me or anybody else.

How do you know it 'came to be'?
I'm disagree with people who believe the Bible is 100% true and I disagree with people like you who mock it and claim it's 100% fabrication.
Then you disagree with everyone.

Fair enough.

I posted their own words.
You didn't post any science to support your assertion. You posted words that a lay administrator told a web developer to write, possibly obtained from a hallucinating AI application. You have yet to discuss any science. This is because you wouldn't be able to enter a conversation about relevant science. All you are capable of doing is finding web sites that contain the same mistaken beliefs as yours.

The ball is in your court. Show me how blue light is interchangeable with a kevlar helmet.

.. the odds are it's an accurate description of the current state of science.
Nope, not when you are either misquoting or accurately quoting someone who is mistaken. What you need to do is to support your assertions, not point to error on the internet that you believe "must be true" because you read them on the internet. Not only are you stupid, but you are gullible as well, and expect everyone elese to be as gullible as you, which corroborates you being one of the stupidest people on the internet.

You claim that all energy is interchangeable with all matter. Until you can show that blue light is interchangeable with a kevlar helment, consider your ridiculous assertion to have been falsified.

Atomic matter obeys the laws of physics.
Matter and energy obey the laws of physics, which are fundamental properties of the universe.
Space and time are not uniform and obey the fundamental underlying properties of the laws of nature.
You completely EVADED my question, probably because you cannot read. I asked you if matter has intrinsic properties. That would be answered with a 'yes' or a 'no'.

Does matter have intrinsic properties?

Since time, space, and matter had an origin point sometime in the distant past
That does not necessarily follow. Has @Into the Night agreed to this?

, whatever created it was outside time.
You just explained why the universe could not have been created.

That is to say timeless, spaceless, and immaterial.
You haven't shown that any such thing with said impossible properties exists.

In other words, eternal and uncreated.
Nope. Non-existant. You just described the non-existant.

... however, if you can get @Into the Night to agree that the universe was created at a point in time in the distant past, we can include him in our discussion about the age of the universe, the interchangeability of blue light with kevlar, and how everything needs to have a creator in order to be coherent.

So, In multiple discussions where I have expressed the fact that I don't believe in any gods and am, by definition, an atheist,
Whooooaaah, easy there Tiger, you worship the Climate goddess, precluding atheism.

you believe that my referencing a sky wizard is suddenly a reference to a God that I believe in and not used to mock the Christian God?
Let's see ... you think that it is foolish to believe that a great flood occurred in which the waters prevailed 15 cubits, and that extreme weather killed all life on the planet, because that's impossible ... but that we are foolish to not believe that in 30 years, or by the end of the century, that the world's waters will prevail 15 cubits, and that extreme weather will kill all life on the planet, because that is an absolute certainty once we reach the "tipping point", and it might already be too late.

You're no atheist; you're a fire and brimstone preacher of a WACKY Marxist religion based on HATRED and intolerance, that seeks to destroy the world economy and quash any and all happiness in the world.

On a side note, no matter how you answer, you lose.
On a side note, no matter how you respond, you lose. If you admit to your profound devotion to your Climate faith, you lose your title of "atheist"; if you disavow your religious Climate beliefs, you acknowledge the religious nature of the Climate faith, which you fight tooth-and-nail to keep concealed (even though everyone already knows).

Organized Religion chases away as many as it brings in!
