Trump gives Iran ammunition to say Trump simply cannot be trusted to stand behind any deal

Trump upended the Saudi nuclear deal less than 24 hours after its signing

President Trump has thrown the Saudi nuclear deal into question less than 24 hours after it was signed, making it conditional on the Saudis normalizing relations with Israel.

His Thursday announcement appears vastly different from what sources familiar had disclosed about the deal on Wednesday, raising questions about whether it marks a U-turn or just a confusing rollout.

With the Iran debacle, friendly nations in the Middle East are losing their confidence that the US is capable of protecting their interests

Nixon did in Vietnam...
We lost the Vietnam War in a strategic sense. Surely you can't be making the case that years of bombing North Vietnam resulted in a glorious American victory. The Paris peace agreement was essentially an American capitulation acknowledging that we weren't going to win the war, and that North Vietnam was going to keep it's I'll gotten gains in the south.

Which grift paid more? Saudi Arabia has been bribing the trumps for years to the tune of billions of dollars. Netanyahu controls trump, but I don't think that's a cash payout. It's the promise of a trump Gaza resort after the ethnic cleansing is complete.

Once trump announced the Saudi nuke deal, I'm guessing Israel either threatened trump with something, or sweetened the deal.

So the Trump administration is so inept, it's cabinet officers are signing agreements on behalf of America that Trump doesn't agree with :palm:
He's only interested in market manipulation. He'll agree, and then sell positions when he announces the end of a deal.

He's charging the biggest brokerage houses on Wall St. $100,000.00/month for advanced notice of his policies.

We lost the Vietnam War in a strategic sense.
It wasn't lost, Cyborg.

It established a South Vietnam, a victory for the citizens of it, and a victory for the United States in containing communist aggression once again.
The Paris peace agreement was essentially an American capitulation acknowledging that we weren't going to win the war, and that North Vietnam was going to keep it's I'll gotten gains in the south.

What 'ill gotten gains in the South'??

What 'ill gotten gains in the South'??
Normally I would have to charge you tuition to teach you history, but this history lesson is free:

North Vietnam occupied large areas of the South at the time of the Paris peace agreement, and Nixon didn't have the means or motivation to get them to retreat and hand the territory back to Saigon. He signed off on the Paris agreement knowingly leaving North Vietnamese soldiers in charge of large areas in the south

Nixon wanted to end US participation that war. He bombed N. Vietnam into agreeing to a peace settlement. S. Vietnam fell on the N. Vietnamese second invasion attempt after a Democrat led congress refused to fund munitions and replacement equipment for the S. Vietnamese army.

So, stop with the revisionist history.

The Paris agreement was an American capitulation. The North Vietnamese were perfectly happy to sign off on an American capitulation.

It's unfathomable you would point to this as proof of the success of bombing.

None of our original goals were achieved in Vietnam when we signed that agreement, and we walked away knowing that North Vietnamese troops controlled large areas of the South and we had no leverage to get them to withdraw.

Annnnnnnd once again you oversimplify things.

Did you forget the other wars in the region already?

The Paris agreement was an American capitulation.
No, it wasn't. Stop being a revisionist.

No capitulation.
It's unfathomable you would point to this as proof of the success of bombing.
Not just bombing, Cyborg.

Stop your revisionism.
