We are all combing through documents, reading diary entries, and getting a glimpse inside the mind of a narcissistic self-proclaimed king of sorts, but we are distracted from his intent to block early treatment that he knew would be effective in order to pave the way for rollout of a gene therapy he knew would be harmful. He did this at the expense of human lives. If his sycophants think this man embodies “public health” we are in for a future of narcissistic cultists further acting to the detriment of humanity.

When faced with a choice between people's lives and the economy, the government chose lives. This came at a considerable economic cost. Some argue that even if war broke out tomorrow and the Western world imposed full trade sanctions on China, the impact would still be less severe than this pandemic. So the idea that the government deliberately released the virus to kill off the elderly for economic reasons is utterly absurd. In reality, no one actually thinks that. Most complaints, in fact, are about the approach being too cautious, too conservative, or too strict when it comes to protecting lives. On the question of the virus's origin, the fact that an American company developed an mRNA vaccine so quickly has led a significant number of Chinese people to believe the virus was created in a U.S. military lab.
The claim that this bug came from an American lab is extremely far fetched......all signs point to the Wuhan lab.....largely set up and funded by America.....under the control of the Chinese military.
The only question is how did the bug get out....I am leaning accidental, but I am far from sure.

I think the lab leak theory is highly unlikely. I believe the location where the virus was released was chosen deliberately. Wuhan is right in the middle of China. If the U.S. released the virus there, it would spread more easily in all directions across the country. Also, I don't think China has such advanced virus-making technology. If China really could make a virus weapon that perfect, the U.S. probably wouldn't have launched this attack on China in the first place, because they'd risk facing the same kind of retaliation. Honestly, if we were really that capable, a lot of the attacks on China you see today wouldn't even exist—because we could just release some biological weapons to hit back at the U.S., right?
It was US tech, in a lab largely set up and funded by America, so ya in a sense America did this....but WUHAN was clearly the location. How much the Chinese Government understood what was going on I dont know.......that they so botched the pandemic response weakening China suggests not much.

And on top of that, given the broader context of maintaining U.S.-China relations, the topic of the pandemic has actually been played down. What I mean is, even if we assume there's solid evidence pointing to the U.S. launching a virus war, so what? Are we going to declare war on the U.S. immediately? Really, this was a failed operation. Not only did it not achieve the desired effect in China, but the virus mutations got out of control. It eventually broke through whatever initial genetic design there was and became highly destructive to people outside the East Asian ethnic group as well. In any case, the truth about this is now almost impossible to uncover, because everyone has to pretend nothing happened just to keep the current peace going.

There needs to be accountability or else this and worse keeps happening. If the Chinese people are saying "Yes our government botched the response but they were just trying to keep us safe" then the Chinese people are not helping.
BTW when I say that the Americans set up the lab I mean Americans paid by America were in the Wuhan lab training the Chinese on the tech.
