It shouldn't be opinion at all. The one absolute proof that trans is a mental illness is that it has a nearly 50% suicide rate. You cannot attribute that to repression or whatever. That rate isn't approached by any other group on the planet.

As I just pointed out, the near 50% suicide rate of trans persons. That doesn't require some specialized training of some sort to recognize as a mental illness problem.
Teens commit suicide at a high rate. I guess we should remove all social media, including Facebook. I doubt Suckerberg would be happy.

Nowhere near the almost 50% of trans. No other group comes close. Even the most suicidal groups outside trans are well below 30% and generally under 10%.
