The demolishment of truth (situational ethics), the disavowing of fact (alternative facts), the turning of faces from the public record…
These are actions of those seeking permission for the conducting of wrongs by separating reality from their actions. Wring doing is not partisan or conducted by only one group of individuals. All groups that are subsets of the society writ large have those within them that would conduct themselves amorally. Politically it is not unique to just Democrats or just Republicans.
To not see or acknowledge that, to “assign” it, is to lose sight towards resolving the issues that allow for unethical behaviors to exist without challenge within one’s own subset of society, for if you look you will see it exists among you as well.

Since the lefties who demand that taxpayers foot the bill for the "homeless" can find excuses to avoid helping them themselves, that might work, except that they'd most likely protest against it and venue-shop for a hacktivist judge to stop it.
