Well, if having one or two at most DSA members in Congress will actually bring around term limits for all of Congress...we all could survive the short term pain for the long term benefit.

I would not say he was a socialist, per se, but it is clear that he would be called a socialist by the modern day Republican Party based on his policies.
He pulled us out of the great depression, and saw through World War II.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was a capitalist, not a socialist. His New Deal programs were designed to preserve and reform the American capitalist system, rather than replace it.
Jeeeze it was just a silly meme, I thought it was funny.
FDR would be called a Communist by Trump and his followers today. I don’t think he was a socialist, but he was much closer to being one than Ronald Reagan. He instituted policies that moved us in the direction of more government management of some sectors of the economy.
