The most important battle of all: denying Trump every objective he set for this war; staying in power despite Trump's goal of regime; and enhancing Iranian strategic power by exercising a measure of Iranian control over Hormuz and global economy.

The Taliban and the Vietcong never won set piece battles against the US Army. Body counts and set piece battles aren't necessarily the measure of success in modern hybrid warfare.

The advice I had for you, if followed, would have improved electoral chances for Republicans and been in the best interest of America:

Don't start a stupid and poorly-planed war of choice in the Middle East with Iran.

If you and Trump had followed my advice, Republican electoral chances would have been improved. Largely because Americans hate your war, like I was sure they would.

Wow this place is kind of bizarre. Less talking and more throwing spitballs. I don't know how long I'll be around.

That said, hating Trump probably has little to do with congent arguments against his practices. I don't hate Trump, for instance. I don't hate any of the people I helped put into prisons. Didn't keep me form wanting to arrest them. I don't hate Trump at all. I just want to give him a pretty pair of nickle plated braclets to wear. He is a crook you know.

As to the war. The winners are measured in how much they got what they wanted over how much their enemy got. So lets see. We wanted the mullahs out of power. They are still there. They wanted thier money back. Looks like they got it. They wanted control of the Straight of Hormuz. Looks like they got that too. We wanted a promise they would have no more chance to make nukes. Looks like that is still a possiblity. An outside one, but the just the same.

Yep, so far it looks like we are def losing this war.

Also, while I think it would be a democrat level shitty thing to do, what if Trump waits until mid-September, utterly obliterates Iran and rolls into November with an unconditional surrender by your side? How would you spin that?

Our stated objective from day one to present, was to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. That objective was achieved in the first weeks of the war.

The little Goebbels of the DNC Propaganda Corps have taken to unilaterally redefining the goals in order to slander and defame - as is their only purpose.

I have been frustrated by Barack Trump's continuous red lines. But I also wonder if he might be rope-a-doping the Marxists and their press?

And if he does utterly obliterate the Iranians around September 15th, he can point to the long process as endless attempts to find a peaceful solution. Undercutting the propaganda campaign the party will launch.

Hmmmm. I do not recall any constituency being consulted on for things like bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, LBJ putting g real troops on the ground in Vietnam, do not recall a consensus or vote about the Covid lock down, yada,yada,yada. Your ignorance is astounding.
