The post election period should be interesting. Without a doubt multiple GOP candidates who lose will claim fraud and present circumstantial evidence supposedly proving fraud and I’d wager Trump via his DOJ will get involved ultimately delaying or even negating election outcomes

As I noted, we all saw what Trump did with two months of planning in 2020, and now MaraLago has had six year plus the entire Federal government to prepare for 2026/2028

States will ignore such a declaration. The wisdom of entrusting federal elections to the states never seemed more prescient than it does now, with "Thank you, Donald J. Trump" in the WH.

The question is what will States be willing to do to defend their rights.

Trump is betting on the usual cycle of him breaking the law and defying the Constitution and the States then having to take him to court to remedy it.

That will not work here as the damage will be done before any court rules.
