Words to ponder

This is an interesting position. Often times one reverts to "survival mode" when one is at the extremes of need or want. Tolerance and empathy actually help FORESTALL extremes of need and want. When we have empathy for others we more effectively work together to deal with adversity. It's kinda one of our superpowers as hominids.

YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE NEARLY 50% OF BANKRUPTCIES ARE DUE TO PEOPLE GETTING ILL.

YOU LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE IT IS JUST AS LIKELY YOU WILL BE SHOT TO DEATH FOR GOING TO THE GROCERY STORE OR THEATER.

Please stop slagging social democracies as "socialism" when America can't even get its own shit together.

America had it's shit together before the far left started fucking things up.
None of the shit that's been going on of late happened 40-50 years ago.
Hell, I could go to the local "mom & pop" store down the street and buy
a brick of .22s when I was 14. Now, I have to sign, and I'm 50 years older.

Ummmm, how do you figger?

None of the shit that's been going on of late happened 40-50 years ago.

LOL. Yeah it did. Not at Trumpian levels (ie I NEVER thought Ronny Raygun was gonna fellate a Russian dictator as fast as Trump drops to both knees for Putin), but yeah it did. Some of us were alive back then.

Back in the early 80's when I was in my 20's, Ronny Raygun came in and started up a system of trickle down economics that has turned the middle class into a stagnated earnings scenario for the last 40+ years. And he slashed the top tax rate to unsustainable levels (almost orders of magnitude lower than it was in the 1950's when you trogs think America was Grrrrrreat...well it was better for the middle class) and started the march to GILDED AGE LEVELS OF INCOME INEQUALITY in this nation.

Ahhh, so you just need ammo. You are a one-issue voter: MOAR AMMO PLEEEEZE.

Why do you need so many bullets at age 14? Were you a particularly bad shot?

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."

Thomas Sowell
this guy was an uncle tom.

you people cannot even be honest about unions and government programs taking us from the gilded age into the modern era and creating a middle class.
